Steel Creek Campground on the Buffalo National River. The Buffalo River was named a national river 1972 and is maintained by the National Park Service. It flows for 135 miles and one of few undammed rivers in the lower 48. Numerous bluffs decorate the river and are part of its signature landscape.
Steel Creek Campground is located on the upper Buffalo River and is one of many campgrounds along the river. Floating, camping, hiking, are among many activities on the river.
